What to Do and See when Visiting The Sacred Garden

The Sacred Garden is a non-denominational sanctuary, which honors the truth and beauty of all aspects of God and evokes one's spirituality through its awe-inspiring beauty and deep sense of peace found in nature. The Mother Shrine specifically honors God in the feminine form found in many cultures around the world.

We have a myriad beautiful plants, dispays, ponds, living shrines, and fun ideas to set your imagination and creative juices free.

Walk the Labyrinths

Art Table
Please feel free to let people know that there is an art table and we encourage/invite them to draw on our bags for future customers. They are welcome to take their bag if they desire. There is other paper available also.

Library
The books in the back room are from my personal library and are not for sale or to be taken. People are welcome to use them while they are on the premises.

Fireplace
We now have a fireplace and you are welcome to build a SMALL fire if you would like when there are people here or when they request. I would like to create a waiver of responsibility in the event someone wants to sit by the fire. In the mean time, please build the fire yourself and ask them to be careful, and verify that they will take personal responsibility for their safety.

Community Journals
There are community journals in the greenhouse. Feel free to let people know about them and invite them to write in them. Please monitor these from time to time, if they fill up, we need a new one so please let me know. The covers get trashed so may need new ones made and we need to be careful not to water them. Please also check the marker pens from time to time.

Art in the Garden Fridays…
We encourage people to use the garden for doing art, writing, painting, etc.

Meditations
We have a Sunday Morning Meditation every week from 10:30-11:30. People are welcome to join the Quaker's worship circle in front of the Buddha, or sit in the Mother Shrine, or walk the labyrinth…or….sit outside. Please advise other guests in the garden that that hour is more/less quiet time.
You are, of course, welcome to come to the garden to meditate, pray or contemplate any time.

Come to workshops and other events in the garden!
